Playin’ Around with InDesign. I’m starting to think though, I kinda seem like Topher’s stalker. The same angle of his face…. he never seems to be looking at the camera…. If I wasn’t his girlfriend… I’d be worried.Oh btw, this is Jaco. And those are the crazy people we met at the hostel we stayed at.

Home! Our first night here! It came with everything! Complete with a Topher! I was happy.

This place has been amazing, after all the crazy travels we have been on staying in random places across the country, this place instantly felt like home. I was so glad, my biggest worry coming to live here was that we would find a place and just feel completely out of place. But not here!

This was our first rain storm at Corey’s place, this is just outside his front door.  I wish photo’s could do it justice. Kinda makes you realize why people may have thought the sky was falling…..for real. Haha

The completely epic Grand Central Station. When they mean grand, holy shit do they mean it. Such a beautiful building. If we had had more time, I definitely wanted to explore the place. So much intricate detail. But of course, we had all our stuff with us, and lugging that around was pretty much the worst. Topher had it the worst, our GIANT bag that we filled to the brim with stuff so we didn’t have to pay more baggage fees on the plane, was falling apart. I had bought the bag down the road from our hotel in Chinatown, and well the craftsmanship was a little less than stellar. Within twenty mins of leaving the hotel the handle broke off and Topher had to pull it by bending down a bit and dragging it by the attached material handle.

This was the last place we were before we jumped on a bus and went out the La Guardia Airport on our way to Costa Rica!

We went through a small version of hell to get to the top of this building. But we did. Hello New York! It’s Topher and Alix from the top of the Empire State Building….. With a shit load of other people too!

Times Square. Small planters with plants. Just the right angle. :)

This became ‘Our Park’ aka Bryant Park. After the mayhem of Times Square we needed a drink. This was like a lit up beacon of awesomeness that was hiding just around the corner.

We found an awesome park in the west village, and I just couldn’t pass up taking a photo of the classic cobblestone streets and brownstone stoops!

We thought Julie would appreciate this street sign. Gay community at it’s best!

We had to, obviously, go see times square at night. It took some serious mojo to get us all to have enough energy to go, walking around NY all day everyday gets super tiring. But we made it! and thankfully there was a bunch of chairs so we could all relax and take in the crazy commotion going on around us.

Coney Island! Nathan’s World Famous Hot Dogs! We completely intended to get ice cream but the wind was so crazy intense I’m fairly certain we would have been wearing the ice cream instead of consuming it.

Diana, I don’t get Tumblr, I always want to respond to the comments you leave, but it doesn’t let me! Is that a thing? .. I just want you to know I wasn’t ignoring your comments
